Lose Weight Before Your Wedding



Losing weight before your wedding is achievable if you can look at your diet and lifestyle well in advance of your wedding day. Ideally you should aim to loose between 1lb – 2lb on average to maintain a healthy plan.

Look at What You Eat Now Everyone deserves a treat now and then but if you restrict your chocolate, crisps, fizzy drinks and alcohol to once or twice a week and to keep the proportions small, you should start to see some improvement. See What You Could Be Eating for a Healthy Diet As you slowly wean yourself away from the artificial sugars, try replacing them with food or drinks with natural sugars:

  • Smoothies instead of fizzy drinks
  • More fruit for desert rather than cakes or biscuits
  • More vegetables or salads instead of pizzas and hamburgers

Exercise Take up some gentle exercise like more vacuuming, walking or cycling . Your partner could be involved too to help them stay in trim so you can support each other along the way towards your target weight. If you have a dog, go and enjoy a long walk with it or even a play in the park catching a Frisbee, you will all enjoy the health benefits it has to offer as well as having a lot of fun.
